Halal ETF Planner runs no advertising and sets no advertising cookies on either halaletfplanner.com or calculator.halaletfplanner.com.

Turning Google Analytics off

Google Analytics loads automatically on both hostnames, so the control is your browser rather than a banner on the site. Any of the following stops it:

• block googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com — most content blockers and privacy browsers do this by default;
• delete the _ga and _ga_642P0F12J2 cookies for halaletfplanner.com and set your browser to reject non-essential cookies;
• browse in a private window, which starts without existing cookies and discards them when you close it; or
• enable tracking protection at browser or extension level, which prevents the Google script from running at all.

None of this affects anything else on either site — the calculator, its exports and its downloads all work without analytics.

Google Analytics cookies

Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_642P0F12J2. They are configured for the parent domain so both hostnames share one visitor identity, which keeps a visit that moves between the website and the calculator a single journey. They are used only for aggregate measurement: advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are denied, Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are switched off, and Google's data redaction is requested, so these cookies are not used for advertising or remarketing.

If you chose a preference on an earlier visit, the cookie that stored it (hep_analytics_consent) is expired automatically the next time you load either site. It is no longer read.

Browser storage used today

The calculator uses browser local storage to remember the tickers, currency, horizon, and scenarios you enter. This is functional storage on your device; it is not used for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking. You can remove it with the calculator's "Clear saved data" control or through your browser settings.

The only cookie Google Analytics sets is _ga and _ga_642P0F12J2, described above. Neither site sets a preference cookie of its own. Standard hosting and content-delivery logs are described in the privacy policy; they are not created by browser cookies.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Both hostnames use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not track visitors across sites, and records only aggregate page/referrer and browser performance or technical information. Because it is non-identifying and sets no cookies, it needs no consent action of its own — this disclosure is the notice. Normal HTTP handling exposes the source IP to Cloudflare; Cloudflare states it discards the IP at the nearest data center rather than storing it in its analytics databases.

If optional technology is introduced

Before enabling optional analytics, advertising, or similar tracking beyond what this page describes, we will:

• identify the provider and purpose;
• update this policy and the privacy policy;
• add a control that prevents optional technology from loading before the required choice; and
• ask visitors for a fresh choice rather than treating an earlier acknowledgement as consent.

This page is the reference for what is currently used. Browser settings, not a control on the site, are how you turn Google Analytics off.
